Most of my work in this area involves filling in the gaps that are not being satisfied by conventional business advisers, such as accountants and lawyers.  The majority of this work is strategic and facilitative, rather than hands-on with the numbers. 

I facilitate the development of corporate visioning, strategic planning and business planning.  On these assignments I work closely with clients and with their advisers to develop the answers and plans they need to meet major challenges - using information mainly drawn from existing systems and sources.

My Approach

Again, my Forensic Methodology is pressed into use for most assignments:

  • Gather information - Needs Analysis.
  • Assess information - what is working well and what is not working well? 
  • Generate Options for Improvement - focus groups and facilitated brainstorming meetings.  Surveys and feedback reports.  Selection of optimal options.
  • Implementation - plans and assistance, including change management and staff training.
